Crypto markets steadied on October 5, with Bitcoin hovering in the $83,000–$85,000 range after spot Bitcoin ETFs posted their largest weekly inflow of 2026. Data cited from CryptoPotato showed that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs absorbed $2.39 billion in the week ending September 25, enough to push the 2026 aggregate flow back into positive territory. The buying carried Bitcoin above $81,722, the average cost basis for typical ETF holders, for the first time since January, according to KuCoin. Bitcoin also cleared $82,281, a level that had previously capped price action, and reached $87,300 last week before easing.
CoinMarketCap data showed Bitcoin around $85,319 with a $1.71 trillion market cap in one snapshot, while later updates placed it near $83,352 with a $1.67 trillion valuation. CoinStats identifies $90,000 as the main overhead obstacle, with the upper daily band near $88,509 as the first stop. Not all analysts are convinced: jobs and inflation prints this week could revive Federal Reserve rate-hike talk and send Bitcoin back under $82,281, according to analysts cited by Yahoo Finance.
XRP traded at $1.52, up 1.67% over 24 hours with a $95.6 billion market cap, moving between $1.48 support and a $1.60 ceiling. Spot XRP ETFs took in $76 million last week. Ethereum traded at $2,704, up 0.6% with a $330 billion market cap, but it has repeatedly failed to close above $2,800, with support near $2,650. Spot ETH ETFs posted a $2.81 million outflow on September 29, ending a seven-day inflow streak.
Pepeto, a presale project, has raised more than $11.1 million and says it has over 43,000 holders. Its current stage price is $0.0000001899, with stage closures lifting the price. The project claims live tools are already operating: PepetoSwap with 0.00% swap fees, market, limit and DCA orders, and MEV protection; a bridge across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base and Arbitrum with transfers under 60 seconds and a $0 bridge fee; staking at 161% APY; and a risk scorer. It also points to an approaching Binance listing, a SolidProof audit and KYC, a cofounder who built the original Pepe coin, and a former Binance expert on the development team.
