Altcoin traders are tracking a potential shift in risk appetite as the OTHERS index nears a retest of a key technical level. The move could indicate that previous resistance is becoming support for smaller cryptocurrencies, although confirmation remains tied to trading volume, support retention, resistance breakouts and Bitcoin dominance. Within this setup, analysts are highlighting Injective (INJ), Aerodrome (AERO) and Hyperliquid (HYPE) for ambitious price targets, while Avalanche (AVAX) and Dogecoin (DOGE) are also in focus.
Injective trades near $7.50 and operates in on-chain financial markets, supporting perpetual contracts and tokenized assets. Its revenue-driven token burn has already removed more than 7 million INJ from circulation. Analysts see a move to $50 as bringing INJ close to its prior peak of $52.62, while a more aggressive $90 target would imply a valuation near $10 billion.
Aerodrome, the leading decentralized exchange on Base, trades around $0.80. By April 2026 it had generated about $185 billion in trading volume and $270 million in swap fees. Its governance model rewards long-term lockers with voting power and revenue share. Price targets include $3.50, worth roughly $9.1 billion in market capitalization, with a possible extension to $6-$8 if growth continues.
Hyperliquid trades near $89-$90, close to a recent high around $97. The platform generated approximately $685 million in revenue over the past year and uses fee income to repurchase and burn HYPE tokens. Targets of $200 and $300 are far more ambitious because they imply $200 billion to $300 billion in market value, requiring annual revenue of roughly $5 billion to support such valuations.
The broader altcoin watchlist includes Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Chainlink and Dogecoin. Avalanche may draw attention as sentiment shifts toward major smart-contract platforms, while Dogecoin could react to renewed speculative momentum. Overall, the altcoin setup is constructive, but confirmation remains the key requirement before a broader rally can be declared.
