Arbitrum’s ARB token has moved out of its previous ascending parallel channel and is now trading inside a tight range between rising moving-average support and a descending resistance trendline. After the channel break, ARB formed a series of lower highs and lower lows, with a descending trendline connecting the swing high near $0.255 to lower reaction highs through late September and October.
At the time of analysis on October 15, 2026, ARB was changing hands around $0.194, up about 6.6% on the day, but the latest daily candle pushed toward diagonal resistance near $0.196 and met selling pressure, leaving an upper wick. The descending line still caps the recovery.
Below the price, the 50-day simple moving average sits near $0.174 and continues to slope upward. Recent wicks toward $0.170 found buying interest around this average, making it the main dynamic support beneath the current range. The $0.185 level, which marks the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement of the move from approximately $0.07 to $0.25, now acts as the nearest short-term pivot after ARB recovered above it.
Key levels to watch include macro peak resistance at $0.255, Fibonacci resistance at $0.212, immediate resistance at $0.196–$0.198, primary support at $0.174, secondary support at $0.163, golden pocket support at $0.141, and the moving-average base between $0.117 and $0.129. The 14-day RSI is near 52, with its signal line near 51.5, showing neutral momentum.
For an upside confirmation, ARB needs a decisive daily close above the descending resistance area around $0.196–$0.198, which could put the 0.236 Fibonacci level near $0.212 in focus. A downside break below the 50-day SMA near $0.174 would expose the 0.500 Fibonacci level near $0.163, and potentially the 0.618 Fibonacci level near $0.141. Until either level breaks, ARB remains in a tight consolidation range rather than a confirmed new trend.
