Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Rakuten Wallet has confirmed another Shiba Inu promotional giveaway, offering physical commemorative SHIB coins to eligible holders attending an investment seminar on November 3. The event is hosted by Rakuten Securities and coincides with a public holiday in Japan, where the exchange will operate a dedicated promotional booth. Senior Analyst Matsuda will participate, extending a series of appearances that included a similar event in October.
To qualify, visitors must present a screen confirming their SHIB holdings inside the Rakuten Wallet application. The exchange has not set a minimum balance, and all users who meet the verification requirement can receive a metal SHIB coin without exceptions. Rakuten Wallet introduced the commemorative coin in July 2026 using a specialized sandblasting process, giving the collectible a distinctive finish. Unlike digital SHIB tokens, the physical coins have no blockchain functionality and cannot be used for transactions. They are strictly promotional items tied to the exchange's engagement program.
The initiative continues earlier distribution events held in Fukuoka, with additional October events planned for Sapporo and Osaka. Rakuten Wallet first added Shiba Inu to its supported cryptocurrencies in April 2026 and has used physical giveaways to promote its services across Japan.
Meanwhile, SHIB traded near $0.00000494, down 3.78% over 24 hours, and reached an intraday low of $0.000004811. Broader crypto liquidations reached approximately $972.26 million. U.S. inflation data added pressure: September consumer prices rose 3.7% annually, above August's 3.4%, while core inflation climbed to 2.6% from 2.4%, renewing concerns over potential Federal Reserve rate increases. These market conditions appear separate from the Rakuten Wallet promotional announcement.
