Binance is expanding its artificial intelligence push with a new naming feature for agentic wallets. On Oct. 20, Binance co-founder Yi He promoted Agent ID, inviting users to claim unique names for their AI agents through the Binance App. Yi He shared a gold digital card bearing heyi.ai, describing the product as ‘Agent ID — Your Agent’s unique name.’
A community explainer from contributor Kuroven described Agent ID as an alternative to long wallet addresses beginning with ‘0x,’ with personalized cards ending in ‘.ai,’ including examples such as kuroven.ai. The registration sequence directs users to open Binance Wallet, look for the Agent ID banner, choose their preferred ‘.ai’ name, and set up the wallet. However, neither demonstration showed a completed payment, token transfer, or trade using the displayed name.
This follows Binance’s Agent OS launch on Aug. 20, which brought APIs, Wallet Agentic Hub, x402 payment tools, Skill Hub and Model Context Protocol support into one developer platform. The MCP integration allows authorized applications to check agent subaccount balances, positions and account records, with support for spot, margin, Convert and futures trading depending on permissions. Binance states the MCP Server has no withdrawal permission for external addresses; access runs through a dedicated subaccount isolated from the main account. Earlier, on March 3, Binance launched initial AI trading Skills for market information, wallet data, order execution and token analysis, followed by a March 12 update adding tools for USD-margined futures, margin trading, Binance Alpha data and asset management.
Binance also launched Day 25 of its ‘100 Days of AI’ initiative, encouraging users to stay updated on crypto through AI tools and reinforcing the exchange’s strategic focus on AI-driven engagement as institutional interest grows.
