KuCoin has expanded its TradFi suite to more than 170 perpetual contract pairs across eight categories, giving eligible users round-the-clock exposure to traditional asset-linked derivatives. The offering now references equities from the United States, Hong Kong and South Korea, plus commodities including crude oil, natural gas, copper and silver. It also covers technology and semiconductor names such as Tesla, NVIDIA, Micron and SanDisk, as well as market indices and exchange-traded funds.
The expansion builds on KuCoin's March 2026 launch of Stock Index Perpetual Contracts and is part of the broader KuCoin 5.0 strategy. All contracts are settled in USDT and trade 24/7 through KuCoin's existing futures interface, enabling long or short exposure to themes like AI, semiconductors, energy and metals outside traditional exchange hours.
Eligible users at VIP1 and above can manage TradFi futures through the Unified Trading Account (UTA), which combines funds, margin and risk management in a shared structure. The exchange also supports KCUSD as margin for applicable positions; qualifying KCUSD holdings can continue earning rewards while used as collateral, reducing the need for redemptions or conversions. KuCoin says the move supports its 'Trust, Built-in.' initiative by improving asset choice, account integration and capital efficiency.
Founded in 2017, KuCoin serves more than 45 million users in over 200 countries and regions. The platform has been strengthening compliance, including AUSTRAC registration in Australia and a MiCA license in Europe.
