Uniswap Labs has officially deployed aggregator hooks on Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain, turning Uniswap v4 into an aggregator that can route trades through external liquidity platforms. The feature is now live through both the Uniswap web app and API, with seven sources available at launch covering more than 90% of all DEX activity on those chains.
Among the external sources available are Fluid, Curve, and PancakeSwap. Uniswap Labs said each aggregator hook wraps an external source in a Uniswap v4 hook, so any router sees it as a Uniswap pool. Every block, the router pulls fresh quotes from connected sources and builds the most efficient route across Uniswap pools and external venues, settling the whole route in a single transaction without requiring new user approvals.
The first aggregator hook launched in March 2026 on Tempo, a payments-focused blockchain developed by Stripe and Paradigm, but Tempo is currently supported only through the web app. The new Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain deployments are available through both the web app and API. Uniswap first outlined aggregator hooks in its UNIfication proposal in November 2025. Trades routed through external liquidity sources pay Uniswap protocol fees, which will contribute to UNI token burns. Uniswap has processed more than $4.5 trillion in total trading volume, with the protocol's about page citing more than $4.6 trillion in all-time volume.
