A crypto whale purchased approximately $7.22 million worth of tokens over 24 hours, spreading funds across nine assets focused mainly on DeFi and real-world asset projects, with a small meme coin allocation, according to blockchain tracking service Lookonchain.
The largest buys included 378,129 LIT ($1.4 million), 6.61 million ENA ($1.34 million), and 3 million ONDO ($1.34 million). Remaining capital was split among AERO ($948,000), ETH ($591,000), QNT ($589,000), UNI ($443,000), TAO ($368,000), and PEPE ($195,000).
At the time of reporting, LIT traded near $3.69, up about 7% on the day. ENA remained under pressure near $0.199, down roughly 2.5%, while ONDO fell more than 4% to around $0.435 and AERO dropped about 4.6% to near $0.807. ETH held relatively steady near $2,428.
The buying pattern suggests a strategy of accumulating beaten-down altcoins during red days, targeting narratives such as stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, DeFi trading platforms, and AI-related tokens. Still, the article cautions that a single whale purchase does not guarantee price gains, since whales can sell quickly and smaller altcoins are highly volatile.
