BTC, HYPE, ZEC, XMR and XLM Flash Mixed Technical Signals as Market Volatility Returns

Key takeaways:

  • TD buy signals for BTC, HYPE, ZEC hinge on fragile supports holding to confirm bounce.
  • XMR's RSI near 70 warns of exhaustion; $565 support is key for trend validation.
  • XLM's drop below moving averages signals altcoin weakness; reclaiming $0.19 needed to reverse sentiment.

Bitcoin and major altcoins are facing renewed selling pressure, with BTC slipping back below $82,000 and Ethereum trading around $2,400. According to closely watched analyst Ali Martinez, however, Bitcoin, Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Zcash (ZEC) are now showing potential recovery signals after the latest pullback.

Martinez noted that the TD Sequential indicator issued a sell signal when Bitcoin approached $85,000, after which BTC lost about 2.80% and fell toward $82,000. The same indicator has now produced a buy signal, suggesting the correction may be nearing its end and a new recovery attempt could unfold. Key support for Bitcoin lies near $80,000, with resistance at $84,300.

For Hyperliquid, Martinez highlighted that TD Sequential gave a sell signal near the local peak around $82, leading to a 4.22% drop. A fresh hourly buy signal has appeared, and if the $78 level holds, HYPE could recover toward $82 and higher. Separate price analysis shows HYPE trading near $78.17 and testing key support at $77.60 after a roughly 20% decline from the late September top near $98. A break below that support could open the way toward $75 and then $65.50.

Zcash is showing a similar pattern. The TD Sequential sell signal appeared near the local peak around $1,350, followed by a 6.44% retracement. With a buy signal now returning, attention is on the $1,250 support level. If ZEC holds above that area, it could recover toward $1,350.

Monero is one of the strongest charts in the current market. XMR trades near $629 after breaking above the September peak near $635, with a daily range between $604 and $656. The coin has more than doubled from its July low near $300, and the RSI is near 70, signaling strong momentum but also a possible pause. Support sits at $565 and $540, while upside targets include $656, $700 and the January high near $800.

Stellar remains under pressure. XLM trades near $0.1777, below all major moving averages clustered between $0.19 and $0.196. The price has fallen about 25% since late September. Support is at $0.172, and a break below that could expose $0.17 and the August low near $0.1525. To shift momentum, XLM must reclaim the $0.19 area.

Overall, the market remains depressed and volatile. Bitcoin is holding within a wide range between roughly $80,000 and $87,000, while Hyperliquid faces a critical support test. The technical signals highlighted by Martinez point to possible short-term recovery in BTC, HYPE and ZEC, but confirmation depends on whether key support levels continue to hold.
