Cryptocurrency projects are scheduled to unlock approximately $1.72 billion worth of tokens in November 2026, according to Tokenomist. The monthly total is down roughly 13% from October’s $1.97 billion, but the calendar remains heavily concentrated among a small number of assets.
Hyperliquid dominates the schedule with a modeled core-contributor allocation of $923.63 million in HYPE on November 6, representing about 9.92 million tokens. Tokenomist’s figure is an estimate based on a vesting schedule rather than confirmed transfers. In October, only about 3.75 million HYPE moved to contributors, well below the modeled 9.92 million, and reports indicated those tokens were directed toward an institutional over-the-counter transaction instead of conventional exchange selling. DefiLlama’s tracker showed no upcoming HYPE unlocks as of its October 29 snapshot, reflecting a different methodology.
Other notable November unlock events include BTW on November 2 at $149.39 million, Monad (MON) on November 24 at $131.90 million, Cronos (CRO) on November 16 at $60.02 million, LayerZero (ZRO) on November 20 at $38.88 million, and Avalanche (AVAX) on November 8 at $14.33 million. BTW, Hyperliquid and Monad together account for nearly 70% of the month’s scheduled value.
Hyperliquid also has a revenue-linked token repurchase mechanism that could absorb some circulating supply, though buybacks are economically distinct from vesting and cannot simply be netted against contributor distributions. Actual market impact will depend on observable token flows: contributor transfers, wallet movements, staking withdrawals and exchange deposits.
A higher HYPE price could also inflate the dollar value of fixed token unlocks without changing the underlying schedule. Intercontinental Exchange and TradeXYZ announced plans on October 29 to develop regulated perpetual futures markets based on Hyperliquid infrastructure, adding a separate market catalyst ahead of November’s vesting date.
Overall, the lower monthly total does not necessarily mean lower volatility, because scheduled supply is only one factor and individual tokens with thinner liquidity may face more pressure than headline dollar amounts suggest.
