Canary Capital's Staked Injective ETF has received Nasdaq listing approval under the ticker INJC, according to a November 3 SEC filing, though public trading must wait until its S-1 registration becomes effective. The product will hold Injective (INJ) tokens, with plans to stake at least 90% of fund assets under normal conditions and BitGo serving as custodian. The sponsor fee is set at 1.10% annually, and the fund also faces a 21-day unbonding period for withdrawing delegated INJ tokens, creating a liquidity buffer for redemptions.
While the Nasdaq listing approval marks an important milestone, the filing does not establish a first trading date or evidence of subscriptions. The Injective Foundation has indicated plans to purchase up to $15 million in seed shares, a commitment paid in INJ that should not be treated as equivalent to market purchases of new tokens. The fund's sponsor fee and a 30% share of staking rewards reduce the advertised 7.5% gross staking APY; a simplified calculation produces roughly 4.15% annually if the entire portfolio were staked, or about 3.63% when 90% is staked.
Meanwhile, Bitwise's NEAR Protocol ETF trades on NYSE Arca under the ticker NRR and launched on September 29, 2026. It charges a 0.75% sponsor fee and reported around $61 million in assets under management. Bitwise disclosures from November 2 showed a 4.98% gross staking reward rate, a 3.34% net staking reward rate, and 94% of assets staked. The fund's one-month NAV declined by roughly 20.15% through October 30, even as cumulative inflows can remain positive because AUM also changes with NEAR's price. The NEAR price estimate near $4.29 belongs alongside that flow discussion.
The comparison from Our Crypto Talk favors NEAR for its larger ecosystem: approximately $5.25 billion market cap and more than $190 million in total value locked, versus Injective's roughly $800 million market cap and about $20 million TVL. NEAR's lower sponsor fee and existing trading history support a stronger foundation, while INJ's smaller supply float and finance-focused narrative could create sharper price swings if ETF flows materialize. Injective's total supply is above 122 million, not simply the 100 million hard cap often cited, adding nuance to the scarcity argument. A governance update also describes a reduction in NEAR issuance, which could lower dilution but may also affect staking rewards.
Technically, INJ was reported near $7.64, with $7.30 acting as support after a wedge breakout retest. Resistance sits near $7.92 and the 8.00–8.20 range, while the RSI near 50 suggests recovery still faces overhead pressure.
