TrueNorth, a new AI platform led by former WOO COO Willy Chuang and ex-Temasek AI tech investor Alex Lee, has raised $1 million in funding to develop an autonomous AI engine designed to revolutionize crypto token discovery. Backed by founders and venture capitalists from LayerZero, SEI, Selini Capital, Virtuals, Plume, and Presto Labs, TrueNorth aims to simplify the complex and noisy process of finding promising crypto projects.

The AI agents developed by TrueNorth continuously scan multi-chain data, social media, macroeconomic indicators, and project information in real time to provide hyper-personalized, high-signal insights tailored to each user's portfolio, trading style, and behavior. Employing generative AI and reinforcement learning models, the platform adapts dynamically to individual users to deliver actionable investment outcomes.

TrueNorth is currently in a closed beta phase with 500 early users helping to refine the system. The team plans a public launch soon to offer decentralized market participants smarter discovery tools. Despite growing skepticism about AI capabilities in solving complex problems, TrueNorth's founders emphasize AI's transformative power in crypto investing and intend to harness it to cut through data fragmentation and decision-making friction.

TrueNorth operates under Singapore-registered Advent AI and is part of the Delphi Labs dAGI accelerator, which supports pioneering Web3 technologies. The initiative reflects a shared vision among prominent crypto investors to leverage AI for interoperability, data-driven models, and algorithmic market strategies to democratize decentralized finance.
