PlanB Projects Bitcoin to Hit $500K by 2028 Using S2F Model; $HYPER Presale Gains Momentum

Renowned pseudonymous analyst PlanB has reaffirmed his prediction that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach $500,000 by 2028, based on the Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model that analyzes BTC's scarcity through halving cycles. The model divides Bitcoin's existing supply by newly minted coins annually, treating it as a scarce commodity like gold. PlanB noted that during the 2020-2024 cycle, BTC hit $34K against a $55K prediction—"unexpectedly close given market volatility." For the current cycle, he projects a range of $250K-$1M, averaging $400K-$600K, with a staggering $4M forecast for the 2028-2032 halving.

External catalysts like Trump's economic bill—featuring tax cuts and a higher deficit ceiling—could accelerate this rally. Historically, Bitcoin surges have lifted the broader crypto market, including emerging projects like Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER). $HYPER, positioned as Bitcoin's Layer-2 solution, aims to solve scalability issues by boosting transaction speeds beyond Bitcoin's 7 TPS limit using a Canonical Bridge for wrapped BTC and Solana Virtual Machine for smart contracts.

The $HYPER presale, active since May 2025, has raised over $1.9M at $0.012125 per token. Analysts project a short-term rise to $0.32 by end-2025 and $1.50+ by 2030, citing its utility in Bitcoin's ecosystem and a 409% staking APY. While PlanB's model draws on historical accuracy, market risks remain amid regulatory uncertainties.
