Bitcoin (BTC) reached a new all-time high of $119,308 on Sunday afternoon UTC, according to CoinDesk data, though its 24-hour gain remained modest at approximately 1.4%. By 4:11 p.m. UTC, BTC traded around $118,882, with analysts like Fundstrat Capital CIO Thomas Lee predicting a potential year-end surge to $150,000-$250,000 due to supply-demand imbalances.

Meanwhile, Stellar (XLM) and Hedera (HBAR) delivered explosive performances, overshadowing BTC's muted movement. XLM surged 22% in 24 hours to $0.4578 after hitting $0.4815 intraday, extending its weekly gain to over 85%. HBAR jumped 27% to $0.2439, making it the top percentage gainer among top-20 cryptocurrencies with a near 50% weekly increase. This altcoin momentum occurred despite market caution around former President Trump's 30% tariffs on EU and Mexican imports, announced Friday.

Bitcoin's weekend stall followed a mid-week rally where it added $10,000+ in under 48 hours, peaking near $119,000 on Friday. The total crypto market cap rose $20 billion overnight to $3.760 trillion, with BTC maintaining a $2.35 trillion valuation as the world's sixth-largest asset.
