Eric Trump, son of former US President Donald Trump and director of Bitcoin mining firm American Bitcoin, publicly endorsed Ethereum (ETH) on social media platform X. He agreed with crypto analyst Ted Pillows' assertion that ETH should be trading above $8,000 based on global liquidity metrics and M2 money supply growth, tweeting "Agreed! $ETH" on July 24, 2025.
This marks Trump's second Ethereum-related commentary during its month-long rally, having previously defended his crypto investments when ETH surpassed $3,800 earlier in the week. At that time, he responded to Pillows—who had mocked Trump's positions during ETH's February-March dip—by asking "How am I doing now @TedPillows?" Trump also countered criticism about market volatility by emphasizing ETH's 35% price increase over five months, urging investors to "Embrace volatility".
Ethereum traded at $3,725 during the endorsement. Trump has previously disclosed personal investments in ETH alongside BTC, SOL, and SUI.
