Mantle Network has successfully completed a major mainnet upgrade incorporating OP Succinct technology, catapulting it to become the largest zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup by Total Value Locked (TVL), now exceeding $2 billion. This milestone positions Mantle as a leading Layer 2 solution in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space, offering institutional-grade features such as faster transaction finality and enhanced scalability.

The upgrade, developed with assistance from the Succinct Team, enables Mantle to process transactions more efficiently without compromising security, significantly reducing fees and improving user experience. Edward Li, Growth and BD Lead at Succinct, emphasized: "OP Succinct is now on Mantle mainnet, delivering institutional-grade fast finality… End users will experience the benefits of ZK without the disruptive fees."

Mantle's full-scale ZK implementation surpasses competitors like Optimism and Arbitrum in scale, driving increased capital inflows and user engagement. The network aims to evolve into a "Liquidity Chain," bridging traditional finance with blockchain technology through applications like liquid ETH staking and wrapped Bitcoin.
