Tether Data, the technology arm of the world's largest stablecoin issuer, has unveiled QVAC Genesis I, a 41-billion-token synthetic dataset designed for training STEM-focused AI models, alongside QVAC Workbench, a cross-platform local AI application that runs entirely on users' devices. The release, announced on October 24, 2025, aims to decentralize intelligence and reduce reliance on Big Tech companies like OpenAI and Google by providing open-source alternatives.

The dataset, validated on math, physics, biology, and medical benchmarks, is fully synthetic—generated from educational and scientific materials—to enhance critical reasoning in AI models. QVAC Workbench, available for Android (with iOS imminent) and desktop platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux), ensures 100% privacy by keeping all data local, and includes a peer-to-peer delegated inference feature for offloading heavy computations to desktops while maintaining data security.

CEO Paolo Ardoino stated, "Intelligence shouldn't be centralized. With QVAC Workbench and Genesis I, we're opening the door to infinite intelligence—AI that lives, learns, and evolves locally on your own device." The broader QVAC ecosystem is set to integrate Bitcoin and USDT, enabling autonomous AI agents to transact using digital assets, signaling Tether's expansion beyond finance into decentralized AI infrastructure.
