Truth Social Partners with Crypto.com to Launch Embedded Prediction Markets

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), trading under the ticker DJT, has announced a strategic partnership with Crypto.com to integrate prediction markets directly into its social media platform, Truth Social. The new feature, dubbed "Truth Predict," will allow users to trade contracts on real-world events, including U.S. elections, Federal Reserve decisions, gold prices, and sports outcomes, transforming social conversations into tradable foresight.

The collaboration leverages Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA), a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse, ensuring federal regulatory compliance. This makes Truth Social the first social media network to offer embedded access to regulated event contracts. Prediction markets have seen explosive growth in 2025, with combined volumes exceeding $20 billion across platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi.

Users can earn "Truth gems" through engagement on Truth Social and its streaming service Truth+, which can then be converted into Crypto.com's Cronos (CRO) token to purchase prediction contracts. This introduces an on-platform play-to-trade economy, with beta testing set to begin in the U.S. before a global expansion.

Devin Nunes, Chairman and CEO of Trump Media, stated, "Truth Predict will allow our loyal users to engage in prediction markets with a trusted network while harnessing our social media platform to provide unique ways for users to discuss and compare their predictions." Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, highlighted the move as a step toward mainstream adoption, calling prediction markets a "multi-deca-billion-dollar industry."

TMTG, which holds over $3 billion in financial assets and recently posted its first quarter of positive cash flow, aims to deepen its transformation into a fintech ecosystem. The partnership could fuse political discourse with market speculation, particularly ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, potentially redefining retail investor engagement.
