Fortify Labs, the Web3 incubator and VC studio operated by TZ APAC, has officially opened applications for its 2026 cohort, offering selected projects a share of $1.3 million in funding. The program targets early and growth-stage Web3 ventures, providing mentorship, ecosystem access, and personalized support over a seven-month period from early March to early October 2026.
Applications close on January 30, 2026, and are reviewed on a rolling basis, with successful applicants notified by mid-February. The initiative emphasizes sustainable growth over rapid acceleration, allowing teams to work closely with specialists in areas like tokenomics, go-to-market strategy, and compliance. Participants gain direct access to a network of investors, exchanges, and over 30,000 potential users.
Past cohorts have demonstrated impressive results: Questflow from the 2024 program achieved a 156x increase in monthly active users and reached a $50 million valuation, while Sogni AI in the 2025 cohort scaled from testnet to 90,000 mainnet users and completed a token generation event. Another project, 5050, evolved from concept to full product in three months, attracting 600 users within two weeks of launch.
Projects must build on either Tezos or Etherlink. Tezos, a proof-of-stake blockchain operational since 2018, is noted for its energy efficiency and on-chain governance. Etherlink serves as an EVM-compatible layer, enabling developers to deploy Ethereum codebases and facilitate cross-chain asset migration. The program includes two mandatory in-person off-sites in Singapore, with travel stipends provided, and offers fast-tracking for projects ready to start early.
Mauvis Ledford, CEO of Sogni AI, highlighted the program's impact: "Working with TZ APAC has been an absolute privilege... The level of commitment you get at Fortify Labs is rare, and it makes all the difference."
