YZi Labs Leads $11 Million Seed Round for AI Education Startup VideoTutor

VideoTutor, an AI-based education company, has secured an $11 million seed round led by YZi Labs, with participation from ByteDance's Jin Qiu Fund, Baidu Ventures, and BridgeOne Capital. The funds will be used to enhance VideoTutor's AI animation engine and educational tools, accelerating research and development.

The company transforms text into intelligent learning videos through AI tutors, creating personalized lessons that replace static materials with dynamic, generative content. This round follows a $1 million pre-seed investment in May 2025, highlighting rapid growth driven by increasing demand for scalable, high-quality AI education solutions.

YZi Labs, known for investments in Web3 and deep-tech startups, is deepening its focus on AI software, signaling confidence in AI-powered education's potential. VideoTutor plans to launch beta versions in English, Mandarin, and Spanish, collaborating with international institutions to reach millions of students globally.
