Crypto.com has announced a major upgrade to its referral program, significantly increasing potential rewards and introducing a new, detailed dashboard for tracking performance. The revamped program now allows users to earn up to $100 in CRO (Crypto.com's native token) for each successful referral, with a potential total bonus of up to $10,000 in CRO for 100 successful referrals.

The new structure is based on tiered trading volume milestones that referred friends must reach within their first 30 days after completing KYC verification. The reward tiers are: $5 USD each for $100 in trading volume, $15 each for $500, $25 each for $1,000, and a cap of $75 each for $5,000 in volume. An additional $25 CRO reward is available for staking CRO or making an eligible subscription. This represents a doubling of the maximum per-referral reward from the previous 2024 program, which capped at $50.

A central feature of the update is the new personal dashboard within the Crypto.com App. It provides referrers with real-time updates on each referral's progress, including a 30-day countdown timer, current trading volume, upcoming milestone progress, and total earnings. Names of referred friends are masked for privacy. The dashboard is designed to help referrers monitor performance and motivate their network to reach the next reward tier.

The upgrade also includes improved sharing tools for distributing referral codes and links. Crypto.com states the program is designed to support new market participants with low trading volume requirements and to foster long-term community building and platform activity. The program's availability and specific reward caps vary by jurisdiction, with the outlined figures applying to Tier 1 regions including the United States, Switzerland, Germany, and Hong Kong.

This move aligns with a broader industry trend where major centralized exchanges (CEXs) employ sophisticated referral programs to drive user acquisition. As noted in industry analysis, programs in 2025 often combine welcome bonuses with recurring commission models, requiring referred users to complete time-limited tasks like KYC, deposits, and minimum trading volume. Platforms like Bitunix, for example, offer commission rates of up to 50% on trading fees. Crypto.com's update focuses on a substantial, one-time CRO bonus structure tied directly to trading engagement.
