McLaren Racing has announced a multi-year partnership with the Hedera Foundation, naming Hedera as an Official Partner of both the McLaren Formula 1 Team and the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team. The collaboration is set to leverage Hedera's blockchain network to power a new wave of Web3 fan engagement initiatives, including officially licensed digital activations and collectibles.
The centerpiece of the partnership will be a digital collectibles program. McLaren plans to release free-to-claim collectibles during F1 Grand Prix weekends throughout the 2026 season. Arrow McLaren IndyCar fans will also receive their own digital collectibles, building on the success of a previous program. Hedera's branding will be prominently featured across McLaren's racing operations. This includes placement on the McLaren Formula 1 car, driver race suits, and the No. 6 and No. 7 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet IndyCars. Team kit for both series will also carry the Hedera logo.
