Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has launched Gracy AI, described as the first animated digital human in the crypto sector. The AI is modeled after Bitget CEO Gracy Chen and is designed to move beyond traditional chart analysis and short-term signals.
The core function of Gracy AI is to engage users in one-on-one conversations focused on market cycles, long-term strategy, career questions, and decision-making mindset. The tool explicitly does not predict prices but aims to help users think more clearly about market dynamics, uncertainty, and industry direction by reflecting the thought processes of an industry leader.
"Honestly, I still find it a little funny to see an AI avatar of me on screen," said Gracy Chen. "But a big part of my job is listening to user concerns, getting close to the details, and helping people understand what’s really happening in the market. The team built Gracy AI around that same approach so more users can connect, learn and grow feeling supported by me and the team."
The launch represents a strategic shift in how exchanges deploy AI, focusing on interpretation and context rather than acting as another data layer. Gracy AI is part of Bitget's broader AI roadmap under its Universal Exchange (UEX) transformation. It builds upon the foundation of GetAgent, Bitget's existing AI platform for analytics and decision support, by adding a more human-facing, conversational component.
To mark the launch, Bitget is rolling out themed conversation modules tied to cultural moments. For Valentine's Day, the AI offers self-care-focused chats, while Chinese New Year features guided conversations around goals, perspective, and new beginnings. These campaigns are designed to make AI interaction feel personal and timely rather than transactional.
The development underscores Bitget's ongoing push to integrate AI across its platform, from market insights and smart trading tools to products aimed at reducing friction and improving user decision-making in volatile conditions.
