Key takeaways:

  • Bitget's RWA expansion signals a structural shift towards 24/7, unified trading of traditional and crypto assets.
  • Ondo Finance's dominant market share in tokenized stocks highlights its pivotal infrastructure role in the RWA narrative.
  • Investors should monitor adoption rates of tokenized equities as a proxy for institutional crypto integration.

Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange, has significantly expanded its spot market offerings through a deepened partnership with Ondo Finance. The exchange is introducing a new batch of tokenized securities via Ondo Global Markets, bringing major U.S. equities, index ETFs, and precious metals into a single trading environment alongside digital assets.

The new listings include tokenized versions of leading U.S. stocks such as Tesla (TSLAon), NVIDIA (NVDAon), Apple (AAPLon), Alphabet (GOOGLon), Microsoft (MSFTon), Amazon (AMZNon), Meta (METAon), and AMD (AMDon). The expansion also adds index ETF products like SPYon, IVVon, QQQon, IWMon, and ITOTon, as well as commodity-linked assets IAUon (gold) and SLVon (silver).

This launch builds on an existing relationship that began in September 2025 when Bitget and Bitget Wallet first introduced access to over 100 tokenized assets through Ondo. The collaboration has since grown, with Bitget recently adding 98 new tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs. Bitget has reported strong traction, stating that Ondo tokenized stock trading on its platform captured about 73% of market share in early December 2025, rising to roughly 89% later that month. Ondo Global Markets is now recognized as the largest tokenized stock provider globally.

A key feature of this integration is the enablement of 24/7 trading. Unlike traditional markets tied to brokerage rails and limited hours, users can buy and sell these tokenized assets continuously from Bitget's spot trading page, allowing real-time response to macro events and earnings developments.

"Market movements are no longer bound by date and time, user expectations no longer stop at the boundary between crypto and traditional finance," said Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget. Ian De Bode, President of Ondo Finance, added, "Bitget is now offering tokenized equities alongside crypto and becoming the everything app, powered by Ondo."

The latest rollout advances Bitget's "Global Alpha in One" strategy, adding further depth to its Universal Exchange model which consolidates crypto, tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), and broader market instruments in one place.
