Odos, the decentralized exchange aggregator developed by Semiotic Labs, will permanently cease all operations on July 30, 2026. The operating company made the announcement via an X thread on July 23, citing no specific reason for the closure — no acquirer, insolvency, security breach, or regulatory order was mentioned.
The shutdown follows a three-stage schedule. New account registrations, wallet creation, and limit orders were disabled immediately on July 23. Swaps and position closures remain available until July 27, when the application enters read-only mode, allowing only balance and transaction history checks. All company-operated services — including the app, APIs, support, and development — end permanently on July 30.
Since Odos is non‑custodial, user assets are not held by the company and remain on‑chain. Users who connected external self‑custody wallets (like MetaMask, Rabby, or Ledger) need take no immediate action; they can continue accessing their funds through other DeFi platforms. However, those who created wallets via social or email logins must transfer their assets to another wallet or export their private keys before the deadline. Wallet‑access instructions will remain on an official page, but Odos strongly urges users to act early to avoid complications.
The ODOS token will continue to exist on‑chain. The company does not custody the token or provide market‑making, so the shutdown does not alter token contracts, balances, or transfer rules. Meanwhile, the Odos DAO operates independently and plans to communicate its own future steps; no transition plan has been published yet. Odos warned users against scams — no token migration, new product, airdrop, or claim page will be launched, and anyone offering such services is fraudulent.
Odos had reported $102.5 billion in cumulative aggregator volume and $8.6 million in cumulative protocol revenue before the announcement. Its 30‑day aggregator volume stood near $1.58 billion. The platform supported 16 chains and over 1,150 liquidity sources, serving 147,000 monthly active wallets and more than 100 API partners. The closure adds to a series of crypto service exits in 2026, including Legend, Satori Finance, and Yield Guild Games’ publishing unit.
