RedotPay, a global stablecoin-based payment fintech, has announced a strategic partnership with Tempo, a payments-focused Layer-1 blockchain incubated by Stripe and Paradigm. The collaboration integrates Tempo's Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) into the RedotPay platform, enabling AI-driven agentic payments using stablecoins.
With this integration, AI agents can now automate the entire purchase journey—from product search and discovery to final settlement—on behalf of RedotPay's over 7 million users across more than 100 countries. Consumers benefit from a seamless, hands-free experience, while merchants gain access to a growing global customer base and can accept stablecoin payments directly from AI agents.
“RedotPay is a recognized leader in stablecoin payments, making this partnership a natural next step in bringing agentic payments to their users,” said Nischay Upadhyayula, GTM at Tempo. Jonathan Chan, Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships at RedotPay, added that agentic payments represent a fundamental shift in how people discover, purchase, and pay, aligning with the company’s focus on innovation.
The MPP, co-authored by Tempo and Stripe, is an open standard that allows AI agents and services to send and receive payments programmatically. By embedding RedotPay’s solution natively into MPP, users can rely on AI agents for tasks such as product recommendations, merchant discovery, and price comparison, all settled in stablecoins.
RedotPay plans to launch a second phase of its agentic payments capability in June 2026, including a downloadable payment skill. The company will also extend AI functionality to its B2B stablecoin payment solution, aiming to deliver faster and more seamless experiences for businesses worldwide.
