Pi Network is experiencing a wave of ecosystem activity as CiDi Games, a new gaming platform, rapidly climbs the Pi Browser rankings and the core team advances the long-awaited V23 upgrade with updated open-source PiRC standards.
CiDi Games reached the number three position on the Pi Browser ecosystem rankings just four days after its beta launch, with over 2 million Pi already staked by users. The platform describes itself as “The Gaming Gateway for the Pi Ecosystem” and aims to bring accessible games while encouraging developers to build on Pi. Its beta Game Lobby is live, and a shared virtual environment called “Elf Continent” is teased for future release.
Community attention has also focused on the native token CiDiCoin, which moved from 6.017 Pi per 100 CiDiCoin to 6.411 Pi in a short period. Observers have noted that this dynamic pricing resembles a Pi-native launchpad or liquidity-driven model rather than a fixed game token, sparking speculation that CiDi Games could pioneer how Pi-based platform economies operate at scale.
On the technical front, Pi Network’s PiRC ecosystem standards repository received a major update as part of V23 preparation. The changes cover underlying protocols, Oracle simulators, real-world asset tokenization mechanisms, and support tools. The core team is releasing code in stages—first the PiRC framework, then the tool and standards layers—to facilitate developer review and security audits. Global nodes and developers can now participate in testing.
On-chain data shows that Testnet 1 and Testnet 2 have been fully upgraded to V23, while Mainnet remains on V22 with the final deadline for node operators to upgrade set for tomorrow. The V23 upgrade is tied to open-source transparency, and the latest PiRC updates include completed security systems, a developer portal, and standardized technical rules for future applications.
