Chainlink has been chosen as the exclusive oracle provider for prediction markets tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup by two major platforms. On June 9, 2026, ADI Predictstreet, the official prediction market partner of the tournament, announced its integration of Chainlink’s infrastructure to automate market creation, outcome resolution, and instant payouts using FIFA data. The following day, prediction market platform Myriad also confirmed it would use Chainlink as its sole oracle infrastructure for World Cup match markets, building on its existing use of the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) for crypto price markets.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 48 teams and 104 matches across 16 host cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. ADI Predictstreet noted that fan demand has already exceeded 150 million ticket requests from over 200 countries, driving the need for a scalable, automated settlement system. Chainlink’s oracle network will provide real-time data to resolve markets instantly, eliminating manual verification delays and reducing outcome disputes. Both companies emphasized the ability to deliver tamper-proof, transparent payouts the moment a match ends.
Dimitrios Psarrakis, CEO of ADI Predictstreet, cited Chainlink’s experience with large-scale markets as a key factor. Johann Eid, Chief Business Officer at Chainlink Labs, highlighted the infrastructure’s use of high-quality data to determine outcomes. Myriad’s COO Ilan Hazan stressed the importance of trustworthy, near-instant settlement to convert first-time users during the global event. The partnership extends Myriad’s use of CRE, with the platform also running a $100,000 trading competition for World Cup markets. Chainlink reports having enabled over $30 trillion in transaction value and supporting more than 70% of global DeFi markets.
