Bitget has entered a strategic partnership with Siebly.io to simplify API integration for algorithmic traders and developers. The collaboration introduces the Bitget SDK by Siebly, a toolkit that grants developers fast, production-ready access to the exchange's spot and futures markets, copy trading services, and real-time market data.
According to Bitget, the software development kits (SDKs) address a common pain point in automated trading: the time-consuming and error-prone process of building exchange connections from scratch. The SDKs come in two flavors—one for Bitget's V3 Unified Trading Account (UTA) API and another for the V2 Classic API—and are written in JavaScript and TypeScript. They provide ready-made functions for order placement, account management, and private data retrieval, while also supporting WebSocket connections for low-latency market updates. Security is handled through multiple authentication methods, including HMAC, RSA, and Ed25519, giving developers flexibility in how their applications verify requests.
“Developers building automated trading systems need SDKs that are consistent, secure, and tested in production environments,” said Tiago Siebler, lead developer at Siebly.io. “By collaborating with Bitget, we are making it easier for developers to integrate with one of the industry’s leading trading ecosystems.” Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that the partnership aligns with the exchange’s broader Unified Exchange (UEX) strategy, which aims to unify crypto, tokenized equities, and real U.S. stocks within a single platform. “UEX is about delivering a better trading experience for users and developers worldwide independent of the assets they trade,” Chen noted.
The Siebly SDKs arrive on the heels of several product expansions at Bitget, including the Cross-Asset Unified Account launched earlier in July. That account allows customers to hold over 370 assets—including 100 tokenized U.S. equities called rTokens—and use them as collateral for margin or stablecoin loans. The exchange has also rolled out Stock+, a service that enables eligible users to purchase real U.S. shares using cryptocurrency, with ownership held through regulated brokers. The Siebly integration now gives developers a standardized on-ramp to the account architecture behind these services, reducing integration overhead and encouraging the creation of automated strategies that can span multiple asset classes.
