ONDO surged more than 13% in 24 hours, climbing to $0.39 on Monday, as Ondo Finance announced a major integration with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and deepened its role in Robinhood's tokenized stock ecosystem. The rally extended weekly gains to over 22% and was accompanied by rising trading volume.
The catalyst was Ondo Finance's expansion of its tokenized securities offering through DTCC’s tokenization infrastructure. Tokenized stocks such as CRCLon (representing Circle shares) and SPYon (representing the SPDR S&P 500 ETF) are now linked to DTC Tokenized Entitlements created via the DTCC Tokenization Service. Instead of synthetic exposure alone, these products are directly connected to securities held within DTC’s clearing infrastructure.
This integration places Ondo among participants in DTCC’s tokenization initiative, which includes BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, and the New York Stock Exchange. DTCC creates digital entitlements carrying the same CUSIP identifiers and symbols as the underlying securities, enabling assets to move between traditional custody and tokenized form. For institutional investors, the model meets critical custody, settlement, and operational requirements while staying tied to regulated market infrastructure.
Another boost came from Robinhood’s recent expansion into tokenized equities. The company launched its public Robinhood Chain on Arbitrum and introduced tokenized stock trading through the Robinhood Wallet, granting users in over 120 jurisdictions around-the-clock trading access. Ondo’s products—including the USDY yield token and tokenized equities—serve as infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets within that ecosystem, exposing the protocol to Robinhood’s massive global retail base.
From a technical standpoint, the daily chart shows ONDO breaking above the 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMA (around $0.376) for the first time in months, confirming buyer control. Volume-based indicators like On-Balance Volume also strengthened. The token now faces resistance between $0.39 and $0.40; a decisive break above could target the May swing highs near $0.45. On the 4-hour chart, the RSI has entered overbought territory near 71, suggesting the rally may see short-term consolidation before continuation.
