The deal is backed by entrepreneur and investor Adam Weitsman and has the support of the original founders, placing the lizard-themed cult brand under a new leadership team. A key highlight is the homecoming of Psychrome, the original mastermind and creative genius behind the Creepz lore, who returns to lead IP development. Psychrome is a globally exhibited artist with commercial collaborations spanning Nike, Salomon, Sneaker Con, Staple, Disney, Warner Bros., and Rovio.
Beyond this foundational creative leadership, the Unserious team brings deep operating experience across consumer brands, entertainment, enterprise tech, and major crypto token launches — including the historic ApeCoin. In a lighthearted note, Unserious also formally denied the existence of lizard people, their alleged evil activities, and any plans for $CREEPZ world domination.
