Global crypto-fintech platform and top-ten Bitcoin mining pool EMCD has announced the launch of its Miner Support Program, offering up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits to eligible miners. The program arrives as Bitcoin’s hashprice—the revenue per unit of compute—has plunged to approximately $28/PH/day, a 50% drop from its October 2025 peak and an all-time post-halving low, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data.
With an estimated 252 EH/s of hashrate taken offline and three consecutive negative difficulty adjustments (the first such streak since July 2022), the sector is witnessing broad capitulation among operators using older hardware. EMCD, which processed over 4,550 BTC mined by its users in 2025, framed the current environment as a structural opportunity.
The program includes several components: zero pool commission for 60 days to protect margins; secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR designed around mining cash-flow cycles; preferential pricing on Vnish firmware for ASIC optimization; and special terms on equipment and data center services through EMCD’s partner network. The initiative is available to miners in any region, and EMCD is also inviting hardware manufacturers and hosting providers to join with exclusive offers.
“The operators who survive aren’t the ones who wait out the downturns. They’re the ones who use them,” said Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO of EMCD.
