Payward Services has teamed up with Broadridge Financial Solutions to integrate corporate governance into its xStocks tokenized equity platform. The partnership will allow eligible holders of tokenized shares to access proxy materials, authenticate via Web3 tools on ProxyVote.com, and submit voting preferences for the underlying securities. This addresses a critical gap between digital asset ownership and traditional equities—the right to vote on corporate decisions.
Mark Greenberg, Chief Commercial Officer at Payward, highlighted that tokenization’s ultimate goal is not just faster markets but giving people worldwide full ownership rights, including a voice in company management. The solution leverages Broadridge’s existing proxy infrastructure, ensuring institutional reporting and auditing standards are preserved while extending into blockchain environments.
Payward’s xStocks framework now supports over 500 tokenized assets, including stocks, ETFs, and pre-IPO offerings, making it one of the highest-volume tokenized equity markets. The new voting feature will be available only where local regulations and product terms permit, and remains unavailable to users in the US and UK. The move follows recent expansions, such as a partnership with GTN to add Hong Kong-listed shares, with plans for further growth in Europe and South Korea.
