Key takeaways:

  • Stablecoin gift cards signal corporate demand for B2B crypto utility, potentially deepening USDT/USDC liquidity pools.
  • KuCoin’s API integration strategy aims to lock in enterprise users, indirectly boosting KCS ecosystem value.
  • This move reflects a structural shift toward stablecoins as operational tools, not just trading instruments.

KuCoin Pay, the cryptocurrency payment service of the KuCoin exchange, has unveiled KuCoin Gift Card, a new digital asset distribution tool enabling businesses to send USDT and USDC through digital gift cards. The solution is designed for bulk issuance, API integration, and use cases such as customer rewards, promotional campaigns, employee incentives, and community engagement.

According to the company, recipients can redeem the cards via KuCoin to receive the corresponding stablecoin assets. The process aims to simplify stablecoin distribution and reduce operational complexity. After claiming, users can hold, transfer, or use the redeemed digital assets across the KuCoin ecosystem.

“The next phase of crypto adoption will be driven not only by how people trade digital assets, but by how easily they can exchange and use them in everyday economic activity,” said Alicia Kao, Managing Director of KuCoin. “KuCoin Gift Card transforms crypto distribution into a simple, scalable experience for businesses while connecting every transfer to broader utility across the KuCoin ecosystem.”

KuCoin emphasized that businesses can leverage bulk issuance and API integration to incorporate stablecoin distribution into loyalty programs, acquisition strategies, and other promotional activities. The launch expands KuCoin Pay’s role as a payments and distribution infrastructure, aiming to meet growing demand for stablecoin usage in global commerce.
