The XRP Ledger has crossed a notable activity threshold, with payment counts climbing 47.8% to approximately 658,600. The growth extends beyond payments: successful transactions rose 82.4% to 1.6 million, while total transactions increased 59.7% to about 2 million.
Transactions per ledger also rose 59.7% to 99.12. Active accounts increased 12.7% to roughly 14,800, and newly created accounts grew 20.7% to 2,300, indicating broader network usage rather than a single isolated metric spike.
The next immediate target for payment counts is 700,000, requiring only about 6.3% additional growth from current levels. A larger milestone of 1 million payments would require a further 52% increase, potentially confirming a longer-lasting activity expansion.
However, payment volume fell 60.8% to about 443.1 million XRP, suggesting that while more individual payments are being processed, the average economic size of transfers has declined. This means the jump in payment counts does not necessarily reflect an equivalent increase in capital moving through the network.
On the price side, XRP is trading near $1.36 after its August breakout and retracement. The asset is testing the 200-day moving average around $1.35, a key technical support level. Holding above this area would keep the larger bullish reversal structure intact and could allow another attempt at $1.45–$1.50. A breakdown would expose the shorter-term moving average near $1.27.
