U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $462.7 million in net outflows across all four trading sessions in the week of September 8–11, 2026, according to crypto.news citing Farside Investors data. The holiday-shortened week had only four sessions because U.S. markets were closed on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. Daily aggregate redemptions were reported at $46.6 million, $120.2 million, $282.7 million and $13.2 million, with September 10 accounting for the largest single-day outflow of $282.7 million—more than the other three sessions combined.
At the fund level, the outflows were concentrated in ARKB, which lost $234.2 million, and GBTC, which lost $129.1 million. The picture was not uniform across issuers: MSBT drew $19.7 million in weekly inflows and BITB added $1.9 million. The redemptions followed a much stronger prior week of $986.7 million in net inflows, leaving a two-week net total of about $524.0 million. The latest weekly figure also echoes an earlier report of roughly $460 million in Bitcoin fund outflows, though that earlier data remained unverified.
Bitcoin’s spot price moved around the inflation data during the week. It fell below $78,000 on September 10 after producer-inflation figures, then recovered above that level on September 11 following consumer-inflation data. At the time of reporting, Bitcoin traded at $77,293, up 0.16% over 24 hours, with a market capitalization near $1.55 trillion and daily volume of roughly $15 billion. The Fear & Greed Index stood at 61, in Greed territory. The outflow data indicates redemptions exceeded creations, but it does not identify which investors sold or why.
