KuCoin announced on Sept. 16, 2026 that it is live on Arc as a mainnet launch partner, enabling eligible users to transfer USDC directly between KuCoin and the new Layer 1 blockchain from day one. The integration expands KuCoin's network options for USDC and provides an access point to an ecosystem centered on payments, treasury management, tokenized assets and programmable finance.
According to the announcement, individual users will need fewer steps to move USDC onto Arc and access supported applications, while businesses and institutions gain an additional route for funding eligible onchain workflows as the ecosystem develops.
BC Wong, CEO of KuCoin, said: 'The next phase of blockchain adoption will be defined not only by what can be built onchain, but by how reliably users and institutions can access it. As one of the first global exchanges to support Arc at mainnet launch, KuCoin is helping connect established digital-asset markets with emerging infrastructure for real-world financial activity.'
KuCoin, founded in 2017, serves more than 45 million users across 200+ countries and regions, offering access to 1,500+ digital assets. The company also cited regulatory milestones including AUSTRAC registration in Australia, a MiCA license in Europe, and other compliance progress.
Arc is an open Layer 1 blockchain launched by Arc Network Services LLC and operated by a permissioned validator set. The network is provided 'as is,' and use involves blockchain-related risks such as smart contract vulnerabilities and network disruptions. Arc has not been reviewed or approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services or any other regulatory authority.
