Key takeaways:

  • Bitget's multi-asset AI research signals convergence of crypto and TradFi, potentially boosting BTC correlation trading.
  • Scheduled monitoring may shift retail focus from reactive trades to macro-driven BTC and gold strategies.
  • Agent-native tools risk overreliance, so traders should verify AI signals before sizing crypto positions.

Bitget has expanded its user-facing AI assistant, GetAgent 2.0, to support research across crypto and traditional financial markets, including stocks, gold, and oil.

The upgrade, announced on September 23, 2026, adds deeper market analysis and scheduled tasks, moving GetAgent beyond answering individual queries to helping users follow market developments over time.

Users can now ask questions about individual assets or examine relationships across markets, such as how movements in gold, equities, or macroeconomic conditions may relate to cryptocurrency. The assistant organizes relevant market data, events, and fundamentals into analysis covering potential participation conditions, key levels, and risk considerations.

GetAgent 2.0 also lets users schedule reports and event reminders and, where supported, set condition-based monitoring for developments they want to track. This allows research to continue beyond the initial conversation, with follow-up based on the user’s own instructions and areas of interest.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said: “As we bring more markets onto Bitget, we also need to make it easier for users to understand what is happening across them. Someone looking at Bitcoin today might also be watching gold, Nvidia or oil. GetAgent brings that research together, so users can make the connections between markets, decide what matters to them and keep following those developments over time.”

The expansion forms part of Bitget’s continuing Universal Exchange model, which aims to bring crypto and traditional financial assets into a more unified trading environment. GetAgent provides a corresponding research layer, allowing users to investigate different assets and market relationships from within the same ecosystem.

It also advances Bitget’s broader agent-native strategy by moving AI support beyond one-time responses. GetAgent can use the context provided by users to continue research, generate scheduled reports, and follow developments over time, helping turn market observations into trading plans that users can evaluate against their own objectives and risk considerations. GetAgent 2.0 is available to Bitget users, with supported assets and capabilities continuing to expand.
