Morgan Stanley maintained its Bitcoin ETF buying streak for a third consecutive session, according to data published by Arkham Intelligence on Thursday, September 24. The firm recorded $32.4 million in net inflows on Wednesday, making it the only Bitcoin ETF to attract fresh capital that day. Over the three-day run, Morgan Stanley has pulled in approximately $193.1 million, and the fund has now gone 20 trading sessions without a single day of outflows.
The sustained purchases have expanded Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin holdings to about 9,218 BTC, valued at roughly $775.75 million at Bitcoin's current price. The buying pattern suggests the firm's investors have kept demanding Bitcoin exposure even as broader crypto markets face volatility.
Across the wider ETF market, Bitcoin funds added roughly $347 million in net inflows on Wednesday, extending their positive streak to five consecutive sessions and bringing total inflows during that period to about $2.65 billion. BlackRock’s IBIT led the day with $166 million in inflows, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC with $143 million.
The five-day sequence included $159.5 million on September 17, $433 million on September 18, nearly $999 million on September 21, $714.7 million on September 22, and about $346.9 million on Wednesday. Those moves pushed September inflows to around $2.37 billion and year-to-date inflows to about $596 million, reversing earlier outflows.
Despite the continued ETF demand, Bitcoin slipped below $84,000 after briefly trading above $87,000. At publication time, it was changing hands near $83,000, down 2.3% over 24 hours but up 9.5% over the past seven days. Market participants are watching whether the ETF inflow streak continues or ends.
