Strive and Strategy Keep Bitcoin Treasury Financing Active

Key takeaways:

  • Strive’s estimated SATA proceeds imply continued BTC accumulation, but unconfirmed purchases limit near-term conviction.
  • Strategy’s ATM refresh preserves BTC-buying capacity, but shrinking cash cushion warrants monitoring.
  • Preferred dividend gap between SATA and STRC may steer capital toward Strive’s higher-yield Bitcoin exposure.

Strive has generated an estimated $85.88 million through sales of its SATA preferred stock over three trading sessions from Sep. 21 to Sep. 23, according to BitcoinTreasuries.net estimates. That sum would be enough to buy roughly 1,002 Bitcoin at average prices recorded during those sessions.

The daily estimates show about 284,000 SATA shares sold on Sep. 21 for $27.69 million in net proceeds, equivalent to about 321.97 BTC at an average Bitcoin price of $86,001. On Sep. 22, the largest estimated session produced $36.08 million from roughly 370,000 shares, enough for about 418.27 BTC at $86,266. On Sep. 23, another 226,700 shares brought an estimated $22.11 million, equal to about 261.43 BTC at $84,556.

BitcoinTreasuries.net stressed that these figures are estimates of potential buying power, not confirmed Strive purchases. Strive’s most recent disclosure put its treasury at 26,355 BTC after buying 1,355 BTC for approximately $107.7 million at an average price of $79,475 per coin in the prior reporting period. Chief Executive Matt Cole said on X that warrant exercises generated $21.2 million in gross proceeds and that 57.7% of total capital raised came from SATA proceeds.

Strategy, the largest public corporate Bitcoin holder, separately updated its at-the-market equity financing materials. The filing preserves capital-raising capacity for future corporate purposes, including Bitcoin acquisitions, but does not announce another completed purchase. In the week ended Sep. 20, Strategy bought 950 BTC for $75.7 million at an average price of $79,670, lifting its holdings to 846,000 BTC. It also spent $174 million repurchasing about 1.77 million shares of its STRC preferred stock, while its cash position fell from roughly $1.30 billion to $1.05 billion.

The ATM update is a financing framework adjustment rather than share issuance or a confirmed BTC acquisition. Investors are watching how Strategy and Strive balance common equity, preferred shares and cash as they continue expanding Bitcoin treasury exposure. Strive also held 505,000 STRC shares valued at about $49.7 million as of Sep. 18, and its SATA preferred shares carried a 13% annualized dividend rate for September compared with 12% for STRC.
