Bybit has published its 40th Proof-of-Reserves (PoR) report, based on wallet and user-liability snapshots taken on September 23, 2026. The report, independently verified by Hacken, shows that the reported value of mainstream assets on the platform rose to $19.6 billion from $18.1 billion in the previous August report.
The exchange expanded its PoR coverage by adding ten tokens: SUI, PUMP, LIT, CAP, SPX, ZEREBRO, XPL, USDTB, PENGU, and ZRO. Bybit said its disclosure now covers the 50 highest-AUM tokens on the platform, keeping reserve reporting aligned with where user assets are concentrated. All 50 in-scope tokens showed reserve ratios at or above 100%.
Reserve positions strengthened across major assets compared with earlier reports. The USDT reserve ratio rose to 110% from 105%, with roughly 3.96 billion USDT in wallet holdings backing about 3.59 billion USDT in user liabilities. The USDC ratio increased to 223% from 174%. ETH edged up to 103%, while BTC held steady at 104%. Among the newly added tokens, XPL led with a 125% reserve ratio and LIT followed at 121%.
Bybit also reported that total user holdings included approximately 56,100 BTC and 551,900 ETH. Compared with the previous reporting period, BTC holdings increased by 0.24%, ETH holdings rose by 2.96%, and USDe holdings surged by 62.41% to roughly 516 million, while USDT user liabilities declined by 11.46%. The report offers an independently verified view of reserve balances and user liabilities, reinforcing transparency around the exchange’s custody and solvency position.
