Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced two expansions on Sept. 23, 2026: USD deposit support through OpenPayd and the addition of TradFi Perpetual Contracts to its Copy Trading Classic feature.
The OpenPayd integration gives eligible users a streamlined USD funding route via virtual IBANs and SWIFT, with foreign exchange capabilities in one unified platform. Bybit said this supports institutional settlement as well as retail deposits and withdrawals, enabling direct USD pair trading without extra currency conversion. Users pay a flat $11 fee per transaction regardless of amount. Victoria Kilikyan, Bybit’s Deputy Head of Fiat, said improving the link between traditional banking and digital assets is key to broader adoption. Lux Thiagarajah, Chief Commercial Officer at OpenPayd, said the integration brings accounts, global payment rails, and FX into a single infrastructure layer.
Separately, Bybit’s copy trading now supports TradFi Perps, allowing Master Traders to take positions on assets including Tesla, Apple, and NVIDIA, while users can replicate those positions in a single Copy Trading Classic account. All positions are settled in USDT, and TradFi Perps trade 24/7. Bybit cited data showing monthly trading volume of TradFi assets on major crypto exchanges grew 117x over 18 months to June 2026, from $3.32 billion in January 2025 to $387.39 billion in June 2026. Cumulative TradFi perpetual contracts trading volume reached $1.32 trillion in the first five months of 2026, about 12.7 times the $104.21 billion recorded for all of 2025.
