Stellar has reached a new all-time high in decentralized finance total value locked while capturing a leading share of daily real-world asset tokenization inflows, according to data from DeFiLlama, Token Terminal, and RWA Foundation.
DeFi TVL on Stellar surged to nearly $273 million as of October 2, marking the highest level since launch and up from roughly $265 million just one week earlier. The network also approached a user-activity milestone, with active addresses reaching 94,972 and 24-hour decentralized exchange volume of $3.38 million.
In the RWA sector, the top 10 blockchain networks added $96.5 million in tokenized real-world asset market capitalization over 24 hours. Stellar accounted for $36.4 million, or 37% of daily growth, ahead of BNB Chain’s $23.2 million. Together the two networks represented 62% of sector-wide net inflows, while XLayer added $9.8 million and Solana $7.7 million.
Stellar's total distributed RWA assets reached $3.47 billion at the start of October, a 5.86% increase over 30 days, with monthly transfer volume up 45% to $581.5 million. Large regulated funds remain the main liquidity drivers, including the Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund at €1.225 billion, Ondo U.S. Dollar Yield at $536.89 million, and Franklin Templeton BENJI at $513.78 million.
Despite having relatively few launched projects, about 72, Stellar's average locked value per initiative exceeds $48 million, compared with about $1.4 million on retail-focused Solana. Institutions are favoring Stellar’s infrastructure and Soroban smart contracts for low transaction costs and built-in regulatory compliance. Ledger activity hit a peak of 217.4 transactions per second, while RWA liquidity was supported by a $409.9 million stablecoin market cap and $10.1 billion in 30-day transfer volume, according to RWA.xyz.
