Polygon Labs has officially integrated TRON into its Open Money Stack, a move that lets businesses and fintechs connect with TRON’s deep USDT ecosystem, bank rails, virtual accounts, and cross-chain settlement tools.
According to Polygon, more than $94 billion in USDT currently circulates on TRON, and the network has processed over $30 trillion in total transfer volume. The integration is designed to bring together licensing, sponsored banking, wallets, and cross-chain routing in one place, allowing companies to move dollars from regulated on-ramps into virtual accounts and then on-chain according to their business rules.
The new TRON support allows companies to operate across TRON and EVM-based networks, expanding reach to customers in different blockchain ecosystems. Polygon also said it has facilitated over $3 trillion in transaction volume as of September 21, and CEO Sandeep highlighted that Polygon recorded more wallet-to-wallet stablecoin transactions than Ethereum L1, Base, and Arbitrum over a recent seven-day period.
The integration arrives amid increasing business interest in stablecoin-based global payments and could strengthen both Polygon’s infrastructure position and TRON’s utility in digital dollar settlement.
