Samsung Wallet has moved to bring stablecoin payments to a massive mobile audience, announcing integrations with both Sui and Solana to support USDC transactions across 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States. The Sui integration enables gasless USDC transfers, removing network fees and lowering friction for everyday users. The Solana collaboration is expected to go live in the last week of October, allowing Samsung Wallet users to send money across borders using the stablecoin.
The move was highlighted by the Sui Network’s social channels, where the announcement generated significant community engagement, including more than 300 likes and 67 retweets shortly after being posted. Sui is designed for fast, efficient transactions and decentralized applications, while Solana offers high throughput and low fees, making both networks well suited for stablecoin payments.
By embedding USDC support in Samsung Wallet, the partnerships aim to simplify cross-border transfers and expand practical crypto adoption among mainstream mobile users. Market conditions remain mixed, but the integration could support higher transaction volume and network activity for Sui and Solana as the launch approaches.
