Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and all related mining services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC, the exchange confirmed on October 13, 2026. The closure covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and Pool APIs. Miners must redirect their hardware and Pool Savings users must redeem or unsubscribe before the cutoff, as shares submitted after that point will not be accepted, processed, or credited.
The announcement comes as Bitcoin trades at $82,343, down 1.00% on the day, between support at $80,660 and resistance at $87,145. The news has not triggered a clear market reaction, according to 99Bitcoins analysis. Binance Pool launched in April 2020 and ranked ninth among Bitcoin pools at the end of 2025, with approximately 26 exahashes per second (EH/s) — about 2.3% of the Bitcoin network's total hashrate, according to Hashrate Index. The mining pool landscape has already seen significant consolidation in 2026, with SBI shutting down its pool and Poolin filing for bankruptcy. Rival pool operator Braiins has already offered to host displaced miners.
Binance has also been shutting down other services this year. On June 1, 2026, it opened access to more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs for customers outside the United States and previewed bStocks, tokenized shares on the BNB blockchain. The exchange closed its centralized NFT service on July 3. Binance has not linked any of these moves to the pool closure, and a 2.3% share of network hashrate does not by itself threaten the Bitcoin network, though TAP Protocol warned that fewer alternatives could lead to greater concentration of control if hashrate flows toward the largest remaining pools.
For miners affected by the shutdown, users have until 23:59 UTC on November 10 to complete identity verification for final payouts. Pool pages will remain viewable until 07:00 UTC on November 24, after which they will no longer be accessible. Eligible outstanding rewards, balances, and refunds will be processed afterward, subject to product rules, account status, and compliance checks.
In parallel, CryptoQuant's Bull Score Index has surged from 30 to 80 over the past week, reaching its highest level since October 2025, following Bitcoin's 24% rally. Eight of the index's 10 underlying indicators are now flashing bullish signals, suggesting the cryptocurrency may be in the early stages of a new bull market. Technical analysts note that if Bitcoin breaks decisively above current resistance levels, attention would shift toward a potential move above $100,000 and ultimately a new all-time high. As miners reassess their positioning and bullish sentiment builds, the market is closely watching whether more exchange-run infrastructure will follow Binance's exit from mining.
