Strike Finance has integrated RealFi yields into its liquidity vaults on Cardano, opening a new distribution channel for real-world asset-backed products less than two weeks after RealFi’s October 1 mainnet launch. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson praised Strike as ‘one of the best DApps on Cardano,’ while the platform advertises selected vault strategies with annual percentage rates approaching 50%, although those returns are variable and not independently verified.
RealFi uses a two-token system: USDrf, a dollar-denominated stablecoin backed by a portfolio including U.S. Treasury bills, money-market funds, investment-grade credit instruments and private lending, and sUSDrf, a yield-bearing token. Strike’s promotional figures include 49.27% APR for sUSDrf-linked positions and 37.03% APR for ADA-backed positions, plus 0% interest borrowing against eligible collateral. The documentation cautions that RealFi’s own staked product advertises up to 10% APY, and the higher Strike figures may reflect trading activity and different annualization conventions. Risks include collateral liquidation, trading losses, credit exposure and liquidity restrictions; USDrf and sUSDrf are unavailable to users in the US, UK, EU and certain other jurisdictions.
ADA traded near $0.235 on Coinbase on Oct. 14, down 0.38% daily, and later fell toward $0.2278, below the session open of $0.2360. The price remains inside an ascending channel drawn from June and July lows but is testing support where the 50-day moving average at $0.22813 and the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement near $0.22740 converge. Below that, the next references are the 200-day moving average at $0.21251 and the 50% retracement at $0.21024. Daily momentum is weak: the 14-day RSI stood at 47.26, Aroon lines were 42.86% and 57.14%, and Chaikin Money Flow was -0.12.
Analyst Giannis Andreou identified $0.22–$0.24 as an immediate demand zone, with the 0.618 Fibonacci level near $0.2278 adding confluence. He said ADA needs to hold that zone and reclaim $0.26–$0.28 before $0.2910 becomes the key breakout test. A confirmed break and retest could bring $0.3206 and $0.3698 into focus, with an illustrated bullish path extending to $0.4834, roughly 105% above the $0.2354 starting price in his chart. However, a loss of $0.22 would put $0.2110 and the $0.19–$0.20 support area in focus.
Derivatives data show no major speculative buildup. ADA open interest reached approximately $239.7 million on Oct. 14, up 0.62% over 24 hours, with 96.9% concentrated on Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid and OKX. CoinGlass’s one-week liquidation heatmap shows notable bands above the market near $0.24, $0.247 and $0.26, overlapping the analyst’s reclaim zone, while support bands sit near $0.223–$0.225 and $0.22. The more meaningful test for RealFi and Strike will be sustained deposits and realized returns after fees rather than advertised annualized yields.
