SPiCE and SPARK 2026 Summits Set to Drive Regional iGaming Growth

Key takeaways:

  • MiCA compliance focus in CEE signals regulatory clarity may unlock digital asset integration in iGaming.
  • AI-driven marketing scrutiny under EU AI Act may reshape iGaming acquisition costs and compliance risks.
  • Watch APAC localized payment and compliance trends for potential crypto adoption in mobile-first iGaming markets.

Two major iGaming industry events are approaching, with Eventus International preparing to host SPiCE International 2026 in the Philippines and the inaugural SPARK 2026 in Bulgaria. The conferences highlight regional growth opportunities, regulatory shifts, payments, AI-driven marketing and mobile-first user acquisition.

SPiCE International 2026 returns for its third edition on 12–13 November at Shangri-la Mactan Cebu, the Philippines. The event is focused on scaling in Asia without losing control of costs, compliance or customer experience. Operators, suppliers, investors, technology leaders and regulatory experts will discuss product-market fit, localisation, payments, AI and capital.

The summit announced Bidroid as a sponsor. Bidroid.io is a performance marketing and mobile advertising platform that uses machine learning and predictive targeting to help businesses acquire high-quality app users, increase installs and transactions, improve engagement and retention, and deliver ROI-focused campaigns. Bidroid said its mission is to turn users into long-term revenue opportunities and to bridge the gap between user acquisition volume and scalable profitability.

In pre-event commentary, Bidroid described Southeast Asia and APAC as one of the most mobile-first, high-growth ecosystems globally, citing digital-native populations, rapid app adoption and diverse localised markets such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. The company argued that standard global templates do not work in hyper-local APAC markets and that success requires granular, data-driven targeting, dynamic programmatic optimisation and regional expertise. Bidroid also detailed how its machine learning loop uses early post-install signals, value-based bidding and automated fraud prevention to optimise for lifetime value rather than raw installs.

Nominations remain open for the SPiCE International Eventus Awards 2026, which recognise leaders, products and businesses shaping Asia’s gaming industry.

SPARK 2026, the Software, Payments, Affiliates, Revenue Kickoff, opens on 19–20 October at Hotel Marinela Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria. The inaugural event will connect operators, affiliates, regulators, payment specialists, marketing leaders and technology innovators. Its programme covers regional regulation, player acquisition and retention, payment workflows, AI integration and responsible growth.

The Bulgarian backdrop adds immediate regulatory relevance: the country is consulting on sweeping gambling reforms with advertising restrictions at the centre. Among the programme highlights, Konstantin Mikov of Mikov & Attorneys will open with a legal roadmap for MiCA compliance and digital assets in Central and Eastern Europe. A responsible AI panel will examine the EU AI Act and marketing performance, while sessions on retail gaming, CEE licensing models and resilient growth complete the agenda.

Final sponsorship, exhibition and delegate packages are still available for both events, with Eventus International managing enquiries.
