EchoTrade Crosses 2,500 Token Launches Amid Stricter 2026 Listing Standards

Key takeaways:

  • Plummeting post-TGE performance means market makers like EchoTrade now gatekeep liquidity, not just listings.
  • Memecoin to RWA rotation leaves BTC and ETH as dominant liquidity magnets, pressuring speculative altcoins.
  • Watch order-book depth over listing counts, as thin liquidity can amplify drawdowns beyond launch valuations.

Crypto market maker EchoTrade has surpassed 2,500 token launches since its founding in 2023, a milestone that arrives as the token launch market grows more selective. The firm currently runs order books for over 100 active projects across more than 90 centralized and decentralized exchanges, and in the past year became an official Liquidity Partner of major venues including MEXC. EchoTrade has also emerged as one of the largest market makers providing Binance Alpha listing support, with a dedicated team of traders for Alpha launches and more than 40 such launches in recent months.

The 2026 backdrop is unforgiving. According to Memento Research data reported by crypto.news, 84.7% of tokens that held their TGE in 2025 now trade below launch valuation, with a median drawdown of 71%. CryptoRank analysis shows memecoin listings on the ten largest centralized exchanges falling for six consecutive quarters, from 196 in Q4 2024 to 41 in Q2 2026, while tokenized real-world assets grew to nearly one in five new listings in the first half of 2026. Liquidity has narrowed around Bitcoin, Ether and large caps, leaving new tokens to compete for a thinner pool of buyers.

EchoTrade’s team, which includes more than 50 professionals with only about 5% of trader applicants accepted, advises founders to prioritize the right market maker, avoid chasing exchange counts, size launch strategy to marketing budget, and invest in experienced service providers. The firm also offers launch advisory covering exchange selection, token unlock schedules and listing coordination.

In a separate follow-up, CryptoTotem Research examined 20 public token sales completed between April and June 2025 around their first anniversaries. The review found that product delivery, token access, and market activity often follow different timelines. Six projects had substantive code repository changes in the 90 days before review, and analysis of 168 historical order-book snapshots across six tokens showed how larger trades can move through multiple price levels, highlighting the practical meaning of order-book depth.
