NEAR, Zcash and BNB Flash Sell Signals Near Key Support Levels

2 hour ago 3 sources negative

Key takeaways:

  • NEAR, ZEC, and BNB sell signals suggest altcoin risk-off sentiment may persist near key supports.
  • Traders should watch NEAR's $4.30 and BNB's $710 supports for confirmation of deeper altcoin weakness.
  • RSI near 42 and negative MACD favor defensive positioning over aggressive altcoin dip-buying.

Three altcoins are flashing technical sell signals after fresh bearish indicators appeared on their charts, according to analyst Ali Charts. NEAR Protocol, Zcash, and BNB have already dropped between 8% and 25%, and key support levels are now being tested.

For NEAR, the weekly TD Sequential indicator has printed a sell signal. Ali Charts noted that the previous comparable signal preceded a 32% correction. NEAR has fallen 24%, with immediate support at $4.30; a break below that level could expose $3.76.

Zcash is showing another bearish pattern as its Parabolic SAR dots have moved above the price. The analyst said a previous similar technical shift preceded a 54% retracement. ZEC has declined 25%, and a break below $1,100 could leave $850 as the next downside target.

BNB's daily SuperTrend indicator has also flipped to a sell signal. The previous comparable flip preceded a 26% decline, according to Ali Charts. BNB has dropped 8%, with immediate support at $710 and the next watched level at $680.

Broader altcoin market conditions add to the bearish picture. The cryptocurrency market capitalization excluding the top 10 assets is at $220.58 billion on the four-hour chart, down 0.75% on the latest candle. The market cap climbed from about $195 billion around September 16 to nearly $255 billion on September 27, then reversed into a series of lower highs and lower lows. Trading volume stands at $18.42 billion.

Momentum indicators point to persistent selling pressure. The Relative Strength Index is at 41.82, below its 44.12 signal average and below neutral 50, but still above oversold territory at 30. The MACD line sits near negative $2.15 billion, below its negative $2.09 billion signal line, and the histogram reads approximately negative $64.24 million. The immediate market support zone lies between $218 billion and $220 billion, with a decisive break potentially exposing $215 billion and $210 billion. A recovery above $225 billion to $230 billion could bring resistance at $235 billion and $240 billion into focus. Ali Charts cautioned that sell signals are warnings, and breaks below support would strengthen the case for further declines.
